WIT has an immediate opening for a position on our software quality assurance consulting team.  We are looking for a blend of full-stack development skills and test automation experience, using modern test automation tools and techniques. 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and create test strategies.

  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and reports.

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and other open-source tools to ensure the functionality and performance of UI and API layers.

  • Implement and execute performance testing using JMeter to validate system performance under high data volume scenarios.

  • Analyze large datasets to validate end-to-end workflows, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

  • Debug and resolve issues by analyzing logs, database records, and application behavior.

  • Ensure alignment with industry best practices for software testing and quality assurance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

  • Minimum of 3 years in QA/Test Automation, with proven expertise in:

    • Open-source tools like Playwright and JMeter.

    • Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools.

    • Experience with version control systems like GitHub and Jira.

    • Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and API protocols (REST, SOAP).

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication.
